We loved our experience here. Enjoyed the chips and salsa, guacamole, cheese dip. The enchiladas were delicious! Drinks great! And our server Mayra was super friendly and attentive. If you’re wanting Mexican, this should be your first choice! You can tell they care about their customers and strive to offer excellent food and service. We’ll be back next time we are visiting the beautiful NC mountains!

Delicious! This was the first Mexican restaurant I've been to where beans are brought our with the chips. I had to ask for the salsa, but both the beans and salsa were top notch! I had several refills! Order Chicken Fajitas and the portions were large and it was cooked to perfection! I really really enjoyed my meal and would definitely stop back next time I'm in the area.

My family and I went on a ski trip and needed a good dinner for our long adventure! Decided to come here and were so impressed and extremely satisfied with everything! The bean dip is to die for! The fajitas for 2 can easily feed 3! Even down to the margaritas and pricing was terrific!! Wish we had one closer to home! Highly recommend it was so delicious!

I loved my visit here. The prices were reasonable, food was so delicious. I got the shrimp fajitas and the shrimps were so big, I couldn’t finish it all. The servers were so sweet and nice and all of the employees were making the environment more energetic with laughing, playing music, and just casual talking. Their wing appetizer looks and WAS so good. The meat was completely cooked and it was so spicy and good. I only gave the atmosphere review 4 stars because some of the lights were blinking and going out but it’s nothing major.

I was looking for some good Mexican food! And I’m definitely impressed! The customer service was great! They made sure to check on me every step of the of the way the margarita was a 10 out of 10 and the food was made quickly fresh and so good! Portions were great and atmosphere was just nice! If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely be back there!

Solid 5 stars! Our family of five went for dinner, and were immediately greeted by very friendly staff who walked us to our table. There is lots of space and fun Dia de Los Muertos decorations... It is also very, very clean. There was lots to choose from on the menu, so there will be something for everybody (including picky eaters). We started with a complementary basket of chips, homemade salsa (which was so incredibly tasty), and bean dip - so good! Our meals came out quickly and were absolutely delicious plus the portion sizes were enormous! This is the first time in years we’ve had to ask for boxes to bring home leftovers (I am already looking forward to them) - and the price was just right! We are only in Maggie Valley for a few days, but are going to definitely squeeze another trip to Catrina’s before we leave.

I read many of the reviews about this place before my fiancee and I decided to eat here. The one thing I will agree with is that the "free" beans as a starter were bland. The Enchiladas she ordered were tender and very delicious. As for the Barria Tacos I ordered under their specials menu were simply amazing I have ordered it every where I go and there were simply 5 star. We both highly recommend this place if your looking for Mexican in the area. Note: they don't have a spicy margaritas on the menu but the bartender wiped up a very good jalapeno margarita that was very satisfying.
